Natus Vincere G2A has picked the most interesting articles posted on our website in January: the new players of Dota 2 rosters, the CS:GO guides and much more. If you haven't read them yet, it's time to do it.
A first look at Na`Vi new captain: Pajkatt
Recently, our team has acquired three players to build a new Dota 2 roster for 2017. Natus Vincere G2A chose to undertake a new road, moving from a CIS-only lineup to a European environment, in order to better address the changes happening in Dota in the past months. Having the possibility to consider a bigger pool of players, we opted for a very experienced captain who played Dota 1 professionally since 2009. Per Anders Olsson "Pajkatt" Lille has been a member of different international teams (including Evil Geniuses and Alliance) and recently proved his leadership ability as a coach for Digital Chaos.
How the shrines affected the meta
It’s been a month since the Dota 2 7.00 update; it brought with it some drastic changes, but one of the least covered aspects, and one of the most dramatic, was the implementation of shrines. In this article, we will try to cover them, and the way they changed the game. We will start with general information about the shrines before moving forward to the analysis and the way they affect the current gameplay and meta.
Support Silencer in 7.01
With the new patch making Dota roam and gank friendly with intricate jungles and the addition of multiple bounty runes, it gives credit to those players and heroes who create space for their team or turn the tables on a previously losing lane. Here we can discuss Silencer in such a role - space creation, harassing, positioning, supporting, and general roaming.
The 7.00 patch has certainly shifted attention towards heroes that have been undervalued over quite some time. While Necrophos
has taken the spotlight as the most dominant hero in pubs, Spectre
has been very successful as of late without drawing much attention from the community.
Hero pick: Pajkatt, Biver, rmN-
With the first matches of the renewed Natus Vincere G2A roster about to commence, we decided to take a look at the heroes our players have been picking in pubs lately and attempt at predicting whether we’ll get a chance to see them exploited in a professional setting. We will go over the stats of each of our newcomers individually but please note that we will be taking into consideration only the games played in the 7.01.

Checking corners on de_dust 2: Part 1
While playing any FPS, one must check his corners in case there is someone camping there. This also applies to CS:GO as sometimes people will hide in a corner to kill him from behind. They can also hide somewhere during an eco round in an attempt to killing someone and stealing their weapon. Sometimes these players hiding in the corner can also secure their team the round as they will play with patience, letting the enemy team pass by, and then pick them off one by one from the back.

Pistol round on de_dust 2: strategies
During a competitive match, the pistol round can be considered a crucial round to win as it can easily help your team string together a few rounds. Usually, once you win the pistol round, then the opposing team should save for a round or two unless they decide to force buy or you lose a round, which means that you can win 3 or even 5 rounds in a row if you win the upcoming gun round which forces them to eco for yet another round.
