ELEAGUE will hold the next major

 

ELEAGUE organizers announced the dates and the venue of the first major-tournament for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in 2018. The group stage of the tournament will be held on 19-22 January in Atlanta. The playoff will be held at Agganis Arena in Boston. The prize pool will be $ 1 000 000.

The main LAN-qualifiers will be held on 12-15 January. Ukraine Natus Vincere G2A will participate in it. As you know, the teams which had taken 8-16th places on the previous major gained the place in the main qualifiers of the upcoming major. As per moment we know 8 participants of the LAN-qualifiers.

PENTA Sports lost their slot in the main qualifiers, because all the players left the organization. Below is the list of open and regional qualifiers.

 

Dates of the LAN-finals of the minor-tournaments:

 

  • Asia Minor — 26-29 October in Seoul, South Korea;
  • CIS Minor — 26-29 October in Bucharest, Romania;
  • Europe Minor — 2-5 November in Bucharest, Romania;
  • Americas Minor — 2-5 November in Toronto, Canada.
