COVERAGE: The Frankfurt Major

The main Dota 2 event of this Fall — The Frankfurt Major begins today. The world's best teams will clash in an epic confrontation lasting for 9 days. On 21 November the winner of Valve's Major-tournament will finally be decided in Grand Final.

The most interesting question concerning the Major is whether the reigning champion of The International United States Evil Geniuses manages to defend their title of the world's strongest team or be defeated by its rivals.

The Frankfurt Major will be held in 2 stages. The group stage will be held on 13-14 November. The main stage will last from 16 till 21 November. The attendance of all the matchdays is free, except for the final day, which is subject to payment, provided you get to Frankfurt.
