Awarding is always exciting and often unpredictable process. For many creators, the acknowledgement is of primary importance. Game developers seek it for both money and authority. Similar to the previous year, apart from the games, the best gaming services, hardware and peripherals were determined. The following products won:

Game of the Year: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The first part of the saga about Geralt of Rivia, a Witcher, was released in 2007. For the previously unknown Polish developer CD Project RED, creating an RPG based on the book of a local author  Andrzej Sapkowski was a huge risk. The fantasy series of novels and short stories about the Witcher hadn't been popular outside Poland. It was translated into Russian, but it didn't gain large readership in the CIS region. Furthermore, it hadn't been published in English until 2008 following the success of the game. As concerns The Witcher I, it gained idol status almost instantly. The second game of the series was as successful. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has become a crown of the gaming industry in Europe in 2015.

Finally, CD Projekt RED was acknowledged the best for skillfully bringing players into a grim fantastic world of Wiedźmin and thus creating a series of true masterpieces - one of the best series of the preceding ten years. The attention to the gamers is most remarkable: the optimization of the third part of The Witcher will be an example to follow for many developers many years ahead.
