IEM XI Katowice: Talents announced

 

ESL announced the list of talents that will broadcast Intel Extreme Masters Season XI World Championship Katowice 2017. The lineup is composed of eleven experts, including three analysts and two duos of commentators. United KingdomO. J. Borg and United KingdomAlex “Machine” Richardson will work as stage and desk host respectively, while the reporter role has been assigned to AustraliaMitch “Uber” Leslie. The organizers have also decided to invest on United KingdomPala "Mantrousse" Gilroy as Facebook Live host, enriching their social media with his knowledge and ability.
 
The tournament will take place at Spodek, a multipurpose area in Katowice, Poland, from March 1st to 5th. Eleven teams will battle for the $250,000 prize pool in two round robin groups of six; the top three teams of each group will advance to the single elimination bracket playoffs. 
 
Eight teams received a direct invite, while four more earned the right to participate through the online qualifiers: CISNatus Vincere G2A won the European ones with a painless 2-0 score, defeating both DenmarkTricked Esport and DenmarkHeroic in two Bo3 fights. At the current time, there is still no info on the groups, but we will update our fans as soon as more news are released.
