The Kiev Major: The lower bracket

InternationalNatus Vincere G2A has advanced to the playoffs of the CIS qualifiers for The Kiev Major with a 5-4 score, defeating a total of five different enemies in the last day of the group stage. We have already played our first game in the playoffs against one of the strongest opponents of the tournament, Russian FederationVirtus.pro, and unluckily our guys dropped into the lower bracket, scoring 1-2.

On March 13, we will play our first elimination game against CISTeam Spirit, that dropped here after losing 1-2 to Russian FederationTeam Empire. Team Spirit scored 7-2 in the group stage; we have already encountered them, but unluckily the first time they had the upper hand. The Bo3 will take place at 11:00 CET, and the victory will be of extreme importance if we want to continue our run in the tournament.

The next game of ours is happening at 14:30 CET, and the opponent is Russian FederationTeam Empire, who lost against Russian FederationVirtus.pro in the Winner's finals. We have played against them, and emerged victorious, so Team Empire will surely be looking to avenge their loss, yet we will not give it so easily, as this is an elimination battle.

Finally, this is the ultimate battle. Having beaten Russian FederationTeam Empire with a 2:1, we are advancing to the Grand Finals of the CIS Qualifiers, to face off the true powerhouse of the region - Russian FederationVirtus.pro. A formidable enemy not to be underestimated, they came all the way from winner's bracket, and now our guys are looking to take revenge for their loss at the group stage. Stay tuned for the final games!

We will update this page with our next opponents, if the opportunity will arise. The lower bracket finals are planned to start at 14:30, while the grand finals is set to happen at 18:00 CET. We wish the best of luck to our team and hope that all our fans will follow us in this last day of playoffs.
