Markeloff: «I simply do my best!»
Na`Vi had very intense year: a lot of trips, three titles, lots of practice. Don't you feel some kind of fatigue, don't you feel the burden of responsibility and how difficult to stand up for the titles every time?
Indeed, we had lots of trips! I've been abroad and in Kiev more than in my own city... Of course, it's a little bit annoying, but you are getting used to it. Talking about responsibility, that is probably the most difficult thing. You can't even imagine how large this burden is - I don't know about others, but for me it's a great pressure *smiles*. The only answer I could give for «what are your objectives for the tournament» question before WCG in Los Angeles was «victory, fans will not tolerate our lose» (literally)... Of course, it's hard to realize that our audience likes you only when you have wins and first places... It's not easy to keep up to this level, but we are doing our best.
As for you, you are considered as one of the best (if not the best) AWP-player in the world. Do you feel some responsibility? Because each time Markeloff misses, fans all over the world can't hold a sigh of dissapointment.
Oh... I had a moment this year when I just announced to the team that I would never again play with AWP! And that's because EVERYONE thinks I'm only good with AWP. Well, perhaps, it might be not that bad... But it kind of drove me mad *smile*. Well, later I realized that someone just has to do this dirty and ungrateful work *laughs*. So now I don't think much of those who say «noob» or «sunde > markeloff» after seeing my miss (btw, that was something that I laughed at in the commentaries) - I just do not care and simply do what is my best!
