PGL 2017 Krakow Major announced
Valve has announced the details of the next CS:GO Major: the playoffs will be held at Tauron Arena in Krakow, Poland, from July 21st to 23rd; the entire Major circuit (including the Minors) will take place from June 1st to July 23rd. PGL already collaborated with Valve in three different Dota 2 majors (including the upcoming event in Kiev), but this will be their first CS:GO one.
As usual, the major will start with four Minor events held in Asia (June 1st), Americas (June 8th), CIS (June 9th), and Europe (June 15th). In each Minor, a total of eight teams will participate for a share of the $50,000 prize pool, and the best two from each tournament will advance on to the next phase. On June 29th they will battle against the lower eight teams from the Atlanta Major, and after four days, half of them will earn the right to participate at the major, becoming Major Challengers.

The Challengers will fight against the "Legends" (top 8 finalists) of the previous major, in Krakow. Natus Vincere G2A placed 5-8th at the past ELEAGUE Major 2017 and thus obtained a direct invite for this new championship and the opportunity to play for the $1,000,000 prize pool, from July 16th to 21st. For the first time ever, all the matches (including all Minors) will be streamed live in 1080p/60fps.
