SL i-League: The Swedes take the bragging rights

Ukraine Natus Vincere's winning streak came to an end as the Swedish team Sweden Alliance went on to win the series with the score of 0-2. The game counted for the second qualifying round of SL i-League. This score means that Na`Vi's place at the LAN final is not still not certain and they will have to fight for their tickets against Russian Federation Virtus.Pro.

It all looked good for Natus Vincere as they took matters into their own hands from the get-go. The tactical stability as well as good decision making was the name of the game in the early stages. A fight, however, that happened around the 20th minute mark turned the tides.

A fast-farming Alchemist Alchemist started to cause havoc among our players as Alliance pushed down tower after tower. Na`Vi tried to hold on as much as they could, constantly looking for smoke ganks and pick-offs. Unfortunately, the power of Shadow Fiend Shadow Fiend and Sven Sven was not enough, both of them being kited and ultimately grinded down by the opposition.

Considering the recent forms of the teams, it was a surprising victory from the Swedes. Despite the loss, Natus Vincere looked sharp minded and ready to fight. Their appetite and desire to play was no less than during previous days.

A very positive start saw Natus Vincere gather a lead in the early stages of the second game. Dmitry "Russian Federation Ax.Mo" Morozov, despite being zoned out on his off-lane by Tiny Tiny, managed to make himself count with some well-timed rotations to the middle lane. Together with the Invoker Invoker of Danil "Ukraine Dendi" Ishutin they managed to get multiple kills in the first part of the encounter.

The early kill lead turned into a convincing advantage by the mid-game. Juggernaut Juggernaut was the only hero that was able to keep the Swedes in the game in terms of farming. Smaller skirmishes and farming characterized the middle section of the match. Russian Federation Ax.Mo successfully recovered from his early struggle and even became the third highest net worth hero. An unsuccessful Roshan attempt saw Na`Vi give up some of their lead, but just as in game one, they were in control.

After purchasing a Battly Fury, Juggernaut comfortably lead the farming game, despite successfully being picked out by Na`Vi on a few occasions. Slowly, but steadily, Alliance took the lead and decided to push. Fast kills on Tiny and Phantom Lancer Phantom Lancer, both without buyback, meant that our players could not defend their base that was being chipped away. As soon as it became obvious that Dmitry "Russian Federation Ditya Ra" Minenkov and Russian Federation Ax.Mo were unable to buy back into the game, the opposition decided to go straight for the T4 towers and the Ancient. This loss means that Natus Vincere's winning run of five games came to an end and that our boys will have to fight for their place at the LAN finals against Russian Federation Virtus.Pro. The game will be played on the 4th of December
