Na`Vi vs VP: The fight for the finals

Today Ukraine Natus Vincere Dota 2 team will face up against Russian Federation Virtus.Pro in the last match of Group A for the SL i-League StarSeries second round of qualifiers. After a less-than-favourable result against Sweden Alliance, Na`Vi will be looking to return to winning ways in order to secure a direct spot at the LAN finals in Minsk.

So far, our team has been on a spree of positive results in the qualifiers, only dropping two series throughout the whole event. Thanks to their recent good form, Na`Vi managed to beat strong opponents, such as the Frankfurt Major champions, and today they will be looking to put the icing on the cake by winning against Virtus.Pro. A victory today would mean that the Born to Win squad could attend their first LAN event since The International 2015.

Virtus.Pro is still in contention for the spot at LAN finals thanks to their victory against International OG, but yesterday they were also beaten by the Swedish side. Having recently acquired  Russian Federation Ayrat "Silent" Gaziev, the Russian side will be trying to overcome the difficulties of a roster change as soon as possible in order to get to Minsk.

The best-of-three series will be played today at 17:00 CET. The winner of the game will automatically qualify for Minsk, while the runner-up has to settle for a place in the third qualifying round, where the third and fourth placed teams will compete for the last remaining slot at the final. Let’s support Natus Vincere in their quest for direct qualification to the event!
