SL Invitational S2: New roster's debut

On April 21 InternationalNatus Vincere G2A will begin a new journey in the European qualifiers for StarLadder i-League Invitational S2. A total of twelve teams were invited to participate in the best-of-three single elimination bracket. The first round of matches took place on April 18-19, but our team, together with three more, received a direct invite to the quarterfinals.
Russian FederationEffect have defeated InternationalPENTA Sports 2 to 0, earning the right to fight against us in the next Bo3, on April 21, 20.00 CEST. The squad is entirely composed of the ex-Russian FederationRebels: the players are all veterans of the CIS region and have competed for multiple teams over the years. Throughout the whole 2016, they won a total of seven minor competitions, proving their worth even if never achieving any major result. After joining Effect they almost qualified for Dota 2 Asia Championships 2017, losing the grand finals of the CIS qualifiers against Russian FederationTeam Empire, with a 2-1 score. Shortly after they also took part in The Kiev Major qualifiers, securing a 5-10th placement.
As concerns us, in the past days we strengthened our lineup with the addition of Russian FederationAkbar "SoNNeikO" Butaev, to replace GermanyRoman "rmN-" Paley on the support role. We are happy to welcome back Akbar - he has already played under our flag in the past, so he knows how to properly cooperate with UkraineVictor "GeneRaL" Nigrini and UkraineDanil "Dendi" Ishutin.
We hope that all InternationalNatus Vincere’s fans are as excited as we are for the incoming challenge, and we invite everyone to follow the debut of the new roster in the Bo3 against Effect. The winner will advance to the semifinals, while the loser will drop out of the tournament, thus we can expect hard-fought games from both teams.
