COVERAGE: SL Invitational 3

 

The first minor tournament of 2017/2018 season StarLadder i-League Invitational 3 will be held on 12-15 October. The price pool of the event will be $300,000 and Ukraine  Natus Vincere G2A is among the participants!

 

There will be 8 teams fighting in Kyiv. Apart from the Born to Win we'll see such contenders as International Team LiquidChina NewbeeInternational Team SecretUnited States compLexity GamingBrazil SG e-sportsChina Vici Gaming and Philippines Mineski. In other words, there will be some awesome battles and Ukraine NaVi!

 

Apart from the prize pool, the teams will be fighting for 300 qualifying scores, which will be divided between top 4 teams of the event. In the end of the gaming season, Valve will issue invites to The International 2018 basing these scores.

As concerns the format, eight teams are divided into 2 groups. The group stage will have single elimination brackets. Only 4 best teams of the playoff will obtain slots in the main stage.

 

The tournament will be a serious trial for the new roster Ukraine Natus Vincere, as the rivals are really strong teams, since the competition is very high and the battle will be really tough. We believe that the performance at home and the support of fans, as well as the will to win will help our players at the first minor-championship of the new season! #gonavi

  • best of 3 matches;
  • two best teams of each group advance to the playoff.
