COVERAGE: SL i-League StarSeries

 

13-15 January our team will be fighting over the main title of SL i-league StarSeries 14th season. Having successfully passed the first online stage of the tournament, our players came to Minsk to enter in a battle for the champion's cup and a share in $ 200 000 prize pool. The fans of our team should remember, that we won this tournaments several times before. All the finals of the previous CS:GO seasons were held in Kyiv. For the first time the tournament is conducted outside Ukraine.

We got to the finals having outcome France ENVYUSPoland Vexed, Russian Federation PiTERFrance Titan and Bulgaria E-frag. The first rival of Ukraine Na`Vi in the group stage is ChinaCyberZen. We'll play with the team for the first time. The other teams of our group include InternationalG2 Esports and BrazilLuminosity GamingUkraine Natus Vincere prepared to the event without bootcamp. The Born to Win have been training online since 6 January and are ready to please the fans and surprize the rivals!

 

The tournament will be held without viewers on 13-14 January. Then the playoff will be held at Minsk Arena during 15-16 January.

  • LAN-finals: Eight most powerful teams of the world, including 5 from Europe, two from America and one from China will encounter in Minsk, Belarus. The system is standard. First the teams will be divided into two groups. Only three teams of each group will get to the playoff. The teams, which took first places in groups, will get directly to the semifinals. The teams, which took second and third places, will fight in quarterfinals. The play off system is single elimination, all matches are bo3.

Venue

CS:GO finals of StarSeries are held in Minsk for the first time. The capital city of Belarus is 12th most populated European cities. Minsk has beautiful architecture, good infrastructure and nice people. The venue of the event - Minsk Arena - is a large stadium with 18 000 capacity, designed to host international sports and entertainment events. The tickets were sold very fast. There are many eSports enthusiasts in Belarus, who haven't seen large eSports events quite for a while.
